4.1 Test principle

Using a torsion angle phase difference sensor, a strain bridge detection method is adopted to realize the monitoring of the electrical signal of the torsion of the elastic shaft during the test of the sample, thereby testing the opening torque value of the cap or the size of the locking value.

4.2 Application

l Bottled containers: Suitable for bottled packaging medicines, foods, bottle caps, open torque value test, such as bottles, beverage bottles and so on.

l Hose packaging products: It is used to test the tightening and opening torque value of the caps, such as eye drops, hand creams and shoe polishes (threaded connections) for hose-packed foods, medicines and cosmetics.

l Extended application: Suitable for locking and opening torque values ​​of nuts and bolts, or locking and opening torque values ​​of bottle caps and thermos flasks (threaded connections).

5, the test process

(1) Turn on the power switch of the test equipment and set the test mode to “open torque” and the number of samples and other parameter information.

(2) Mount the test sample on the test equipment.

(3) Click on the test option and unscrew the vial cap by hand. The device automatically records the maximum torque value during the unscrewing of the cap, which is the rotational torque of the sample.

6, test results

A total of 3 samples of canned glass bottles were tested for rotational torque. The test results were 4.289 Nm, 4.273 Nm, and 4.311 Nm, respectively.

7. Conclusion
