Mr. Lin is the founder of L&A Wenge Design Consultant. In today's increasingly fierce market competition, design is often seen as an operation and copying. Many operations and being copied are more in line with market needs and recognition. Then I want to ask, what do you think about the relationship between market and design, how to deal with the contradiction between them?

Lin Wenge: This question has to be divided into several levels. First of all, interior design as a service item, it can not be completely equivalent to artistic creation, can not have too strong personal play, as a designer, the starting point should It is a service that serves the project and serves the owner. Therefore, the designer must first correct his position so that it can be accepted by the market. On the other hand, while meeting the market demand, how to reflect more original design, such as based on local culture and regional culture, to create a unique personality, so that your design value will be high Will have a certain right to speak in the industry.

Reporter: How does Teacher Lin view the situation of “European style” similar to the domestic home improvement industry?

Lin Wenge: Human pursuit of the environment is actually hierarchical, especially material pursuit. To a certain extent, it will hope to get back to the truth, and will pursue some human instinct rather than superficial glitz. After all, the European design is derived from outside, which is dependent on the living habits, architectural styles and religious beliefs of more Westerners. I can't completely deny that it is not good. I also like the kind of architectural space. Especially in Europe, the theaters, churches, castles and palaces have given me a lot of shock, because they are naturally integrated into the surrounding landscape and human environment. . China is a country with profound cultural heritage. Why is the Chinese style not recognized by most people? I think there may be three reasons. First, the feeling of Chinese decoration is not high. Due to the elegance and literati atmosphere of Chinese tradition, People's subtle glitz makes the space's styling not expensive. The second is that there are few successful cases of Chinese style. It is a test of the designer's skill and the third is the commercial operation. The reason for the model is that the cost of doing a Chinese model is not high. Even if the cost problem is removed, it is not intuitive to see where the "live" is. In fact, it is very expensive to do Chinese, but it is not in hard clothing, but in soft decoration. I think this is a process problem and a problem worthy of thinking by designers.

Reporter: Today we will also hold a charity auction. The proceeds will be donated to the college students in the interior design of Wenshiyuan. Teacher Lin, if you choose a college student for your design office, what value do you value? What do you think of the students who have just left the school to act on their own? Can you give us some advice for the university students we are about to enter the society?

Lin Wenge: Any company that chooses a designer will not hire you with a single award. I feel that to be a good designer, there are at least a few conditions. The first and most important thing is modesty. This industry needs Teamwork, how to express your work, this requires your language, body, expression to explain, if you are imposing, refused to be thousands of miles, then your work can only exist on paper. The second is to insist that many college students have achieved great results in school. Once they enter the society, they will not adapt and change careers. Especially, like the design unit of the battlefield, without a persistent heart, you will be defeated. As for college students' entrepreneurship, my suggestion is that I don't want to rush to implement it. The threshold for designing this field is very low, the road is very long, and it needs a lot of accumulation.
