Folding carton line design example analysis

Abstract: The production line is an important element in the design of the folding carton structure. It is used for the box design of the tubular folding carton and the design of the bottom of a non-tubed tray or partial disc folding carton. According to the box type, if the forming line cannot be used as a working line, a new line needs to be redesigned, and the working line will affect the design of the carton mechanism portion such as the lid, the bottom of the box, or the partition wall structure.

The working line is an indentation line that needs to be folded at 180° during the automatic bonding process of the folding cartons or when it is formed into a flat plate shape, as shown by the BB1 and DD1 lines in FIG. 1 .

The design principle of the production line is that the molding process of the carton on the automatic glue sticking machine is the simplest (the least number of plates) and the automatic operation of the sticking box machine is convenient.

1, tubular folding cartons line

Because the tubular folding carton box connector is connected to the table in the flat state, and this flat state undergoes counting, stacking, and boxing, and the like, and the box body is continuously opened in the automatic package, the line design is The important element of the box design.

According to the above requirements, the working line should be designed in the longitudinal direction of the flat box of the tubular folding carton. When the pair of working lines are folded, the corresponding positions of the two ends of the blank should be coincident, that is, the points A and E coincide, A1, E1 coincides.

1, 1 use of molding line design line

As shown in FIG. 2 , in the case of the four tubular folding carton boxes, the working lines are B1B and DD1. When folding along the two lines, the points A and E coincide and the points A1 and E1 coincide. Because the molding line and the production line are the same line.

As shown in Fig. 3a, the box-type working lines are AA1 and CC1. Thus, when the sticky box surfaces U1UTT1 and S1SAA1 are bonded to the corresponding positions in a flat plate-like manner, the number of flat folding is the least (2 times). If BB1 and DD1 are still selected as before At that time, it will take 3 times of flat breaks. At this time, SS1 must be added to the production line, which will inevitably increase the difficulty of mechanical molding.

As shown in Fig. 3b, there are four box operation lines. First, the SS1 is folded flatly, and the plane V1VSS1 coincides with the plane S1SCC1. Then the UU1 and the BB1 are folded together. Finally, the DD1 is flat-folded to complete the joint bonding molding.

The box-type working lines shown in FIG. 2 and FIG. 3 all play a role in forming a folded body. This type of box type is an even-numbered positive-edge table body, so it is used as an evil line or forming line.

The deformed even prismatic folding carton line shown in Figure 4 is also a forming line. (to be continued)
