It is easier to increase Fr by using a high speed than increasing the diameter of the drum. Therefore, centrifuges with high separation factors all use high speed and a small diameter of the drum. At this time, the stress of the drum is small. The Fr of the centrifuge usually refers to the value at the maximum diameter of the inner wall of the drum (in this case, R is the maximum radius of the inner wall of the drum). The filter centrifuge has a Fr of 100 to 1500, the sedimentation centrifuge has a Fr of 1000 to 6000, the gas separation super-speed tube centrifuge has a Fr of up to 62000, and the experimental analysis ultra-high-speed centrifuge has a Fr of up to 610,000.
