How to distinguish different microscopes in laboratory instruments

The difference between biological microscope and metallurgical microscope is mainly in the way of illumination and objective lens:

1. Biological microscope uses transmission illumination, which is generally used to observe translucent and translucent samples, and cannot be used to observe opaque objects. Metallurgical microscopes mainly use epi-illumination. The light source is emitted from the objective lens, which is mainly used to observe opaque samples Of course, there are of course higher-order metallographic microscopes with transmission illumination devices, which can be used to observe transparent samples at the same time.

2. From the perspective of the objective lens, the high power objective lens of the biological microscope considers the thickness of the cover slip (0.17) and the thickness of the slide glass and culture vessel (1.2), so the objective lens is usually marked with /0.17 (upright microscope), / 1.2 (inverted microscope), the objective lens of up to 10 times the biological microscope is /-, that is, it can be ignored, this is to correct the effect of glass on light refraction, and the objective lens of metallurgical microscope is usually marked with / 0.

Differences between biological microscopes, stereo microscopes and metallographic microscopes Stereo microscopes are also called stereo microscopes. The main differences from biological microscopes are as follows:

1. The working distance of the stereo microscope is relatively large, usually up to 50mm or even 150mm; and the working distance of the detection object of the biological microscope rarely exceeds 20mm.

2. Stereo microscopes can place higher and thicker objects, such as integrated circuit blocks, larger workpieces, screws, thicker objects, etc., while biological microscopes can only place thin slices, glass slides, and so on.

3. The depth of field of the stereo microscope is large, reaching a depth of field of 10mm. Adjust the focus ring to see a clear image in a relatively large range; and the biological microscope may turn the focus ring slightly to make it unclear.

4. Stereo microscopes can see stereo images because of the wide depth of field. However, the magnification is relatively small. The maximum magnification of a general stereo microscope is about 200 times. The maximum magnification of a biological microscope is generally about 2000 times. The characteristic parameters of the biological microscope are just opposite to the stereo microscope. Therefore, the adaptation scope of stereo microscope and biological microscope is different, and the structure of the lens is also different.

1). Heater: (controlled separately) A. Heater separately Set different temperature according material forming demand to insure product quality. Adjusted the voltage of heater by AC voltage meter which can insures the heater temperature steady and save power. B. Change the heater units fleetly. And it is economical for maintain because it only need change part units.

2). Controlling the heater unit separately can short the heating time and economize energy and improve product quality and reduce cost.

3). Adjustable frame: The side size clamping can be adjusted as the working required.
