There’s Still Time to Donate to Our Breast Cancer Benefit

**February 8, 2023 - Update on Our Fundraising Journey** Hi everyone, It's been a whirlwind of activity as we approach the final stretch of our fundraising efforts for the Ottawa Hospital Breast Health Centre. As you know, our initial goal was to raise enough funds to purchase a state-of-the-art biopsy chair that will improve accuracy, comfort, and ultimately, early detection of breast cancer. While we've reached our first target, we're now setting our sights higher—aiming to support additional equipment needs within the breast cancer unit. As of today, we’ve managed to raise an impressive **$11,000**, which is incredible! But there's still work to do if we want to make a lasting impact. Every dollar counts, and I truly believe that together, we can push beyond our current milestone. To keep the momentum going, I'll be taking part in something quite personal—on **Saturday, February 13th**, four of my closest friends and I will be shaving our heads at the San Valentino Dinner and Dance. It's not just about raising money; it's also about showing solidarity with those who have faced breast cancer and honoring their strength. For $65 per ticket, you can join us for a fantastic evening featuring dinner, dancing, and some amazing door prizes. If you'd like to book tickets or donate, feel free to reach out to me directly—I’m happy to help guide you through the process! Speaking of thanks, I’d like to extend heartfelt gratitude to all the generous donors who’ve already stepped up. Your contributions mean the world to us, and I promise to share plenty of before-and-after photos once the big day arrives (trust me, they’ll be worth it!). A huge shoutout goes to our incredible sponsors who’ve made this event even more special: - **Gold Form Jewelers**: Offering the grand prize—a stunning piece of "his and hers" jewelry. - **GRECO Lean & Fit**: Providing a fitness membership. - **TALOS Custom Homes**: Rounding out the night with two tickets to an Ottawa Senators game. And let’s not forget the local businesses that have added extra charm to the evening: - **Bam Paving & Milano Auto Body**: Hosting a complimentary photo booth. - **Tiny Hoppers Daycare**: Setting up a candy table for the kids (and adults too!). - **Dolphin Financial**: Ensuring every lady feels celebrated with a rose in hand. We’re getting closer to the finish line, but we need your help to cross it. Whether you’re able to attend the event, donate online, or spread the word, every bit helps. Together, we can empower the Ottawa Hospital Breast Health Centre to continue offering top-tier care and early detection tools to everyone in our community. Thank you all for being such incredible supporters. I couldn’t do this without you. Warm regards, Giuseppe Castrucci P.S. If you haven’t purchased tickets yet, act fast! Space is limited, and this is shaping up to be one unforgettable evening.
