**In the Nursery (0–1 years)**

"The nursery is as much about the parents as it is about the baby," says Coe. "Floating shelves are a great way to showcase meaningful items." She suggests using them to display trinkets, heirlooms, and books that the family loves. As the baby grows, these can be swapped out for toys or pictures.

"Storage baskets are a lifesaver for toddlers," says Coe. "They’re perfect for quickly tidying up without making it feel like a chore." These can be used to store toys, books, and more.

As kids start preschool, color-coded bins help teach organization. Red for art supplies, yellow for school items, blue for games—this system makes it easier for kids to learn and manage their belongings.

**Consider Cubby/Cabinet Storage**
Open cubbies on top and cabinets below offer a dual-purpose storage solution. Use the top for favorite items and the bottom for hidden treasures.
