Historically, Coca-Cola has collected ideas from around the world and used special decorations, labels, and covers to launch special edition bottles to celebrate the World Cup. During last year's World Cup in Germany, Coca-Cola UK introduced a novel "soccerlike" PET bottle package.
This 250 ml bottle is used in both conventional Coca-Cola and Diet Coke. As part of this promotion, Coca-Cola invited Graphics International Packaging to design a 2x2 bundle wrapper, which is required to match the speed of its automated production line. Graphic's finally designed bundle package was successfully produced on the Marksman 1400 wrapper at the Coca-Cola Sidcup factory.
