Breathable cool popcorn bag

LM Packaging designed a convenient and versatile stand-up pouch for popcorn at ASAP in Solon, Ohio. The pattern of gravure printing is colorful, eye-catching and bold. The bag is unique in shape and becomes a food bowl when filled with popcorn. Whether consumers are ready to watch a movie, play games at night or attend a party, ASAP popcorn will add fun.

The standup bag contains 3 ounces of popcorn and oil, and the band expands into an upright bowl shape when heated and blasted in a microwave oven. ASAP products are currently in the shape of a round shape on the market. Bags can be made into different shapes and printed with dozens of patterns that are attractive to children. They can be sports themes, cartoon characters, and specific information for different occasions.

LM Packaging designed a three-layer bag for ASAP. First print six colors on a size 25 greaseproof paper and then varnish. The paper was laminated using a gold-plated coextruded proprietary composite polyester sealant. The inside of the bag is made of Microflex Q from Graphic Packaging, in addition to the demetallized material. The bag also has a proprietary protective release coating and a breathable top seal system. The bag material is produced and printed by Graphic Packaging and die-cut, folded, and heat-sealed on a special bag machine from Valley Packaging Supply. Popcorn bags were bagged and bagged by PVTWav Industries of Lakeville, Minnesota.

ASAP popcorn is available in two- and three-pocket bags and uses Nordenia's equally attractive reclosable free-standing zip pockets. The bag is made of polyester/linear low-density polypropylene and is also gravure printed in six colors.

Despite the fierce competition in the popcorn market, consumers responded well to the product. According to Ken Wulff of ASAP, “We have also used this packaging in many non-food channels, including entertainment products, and the products have gained over 10% market share in some of the smaller supermarket chains we tried to sell. Now there are many entertainment themes. We are also preparing to launch other novel designs and shapes soon. But one of our biggest opportunities is to work with film companies."
