How to choose pulp molding equipment

The 6th order of the State Economic and Trade Commission regarding the elimination of disposable foam plastic tableware at the end of 2000 has reached a critical moment of implementation. According to the current production capacity of existing product manufacturers, the replacement products are far from one another. Some well-informed people, including some overseas people, have consulted on the construction of paper mold manufacturing enterprises and are willing to participate in the new world of exploring this green environmental protection business. but,
Most of these people are not very familiar with this emerging industry and face a variety of paper molding equipment, and do not know how to choose. In response to these situations, I will briefly introduce the situation I understand.

(a) At present, the research and development of paper pulp molding production equipment designed and manufactured in China, especially paper molding tableware molding equipment, is in a leading position in the world, and some have been exported to the United States, Japan, South Korea, Thailand, and are exported. China Hong Kong, Taiwan and other regions. This type of equipment,
According to the type of production products can be divided into three types: one for the paper tableware forming machine (production line);
The other is a molding machine (production line) for industrial packaging paper products; the third is a molding machine (production line) that can produce both paper tableware and industrial packaging paper molding products. However, I think that the third type of molding machine (production line), because the paper molding tableware and industrial packaging paper molding products have different requirements for hygiene, different requirements for paper materials and pulping systems, so the two products are integrative, and they are only propaganda.

According to the molding method, it can be divided into two major categories: vacuum adsorption molding method and grouting molding method.

1. Vacuum adsorption molding is the most common molding method for producing pulp molding industrial packaging products. This molding method utilizes the principle of vacuum suction to uniformly adsorb the paper fibers in the fiber suspension on the surface of the forming mold to form a wet product of paper molding products, generally in non-standard paper mold packaging (industrial packaging) product equipment. Used in.

2. Grouting method is based on different paper mold packaging products, calculate the required amount of slurry (material) and quantitative injection molding cavity, adsorption molding. This molding method is suitable for small changes, and the standard products for molding are commonly used in tableware forming equipment stations. Due to the difficulty of quantitative calculations, this molding method is not used in non-standard paper-type packaging (industrial packaging) equipment.

If divided according to the degree of automation, it can be divided into two types of semi-automated and fully automated molding machines.

Each of the above three types of molding machines has its own characteristics. They use suction filtration, pressing, drying and other methods to separate fibers from the fiber suspension and form products. New enterprises can generally choose according to the requirements of the products they produce. The type and type of molding machine.

(b) The selection of forming equipment, the author believes that the selection of the scheme should be considered from the following aspects:

1. According to product selection equipment. If you are planning to produce paper molded tableware products, it is recommended to use paper molding tableware special molding equipment (including pulping system); if you are preparing to produce industrial packaging products,
It is recommended to use a special molding system for industrial packaging products.

2. According to the size of the production to choose the molding equipment. More than 20 million paper-mushi tableware enterprises with an annual production capacity of over 20 million are recommended to use the domestically-manufactured full-automatic molding production line because this type of production line has a small footprint, few operators, strong continuous production capacity, low energy consumption, and less secondary pollution. Low product cost and other features.

There is no mature automatic molding system for industrial packaging paper molding equipment. Semi-automated molding system can be used.

3. The equipment is selected according to the cost performance of the equipment. The pros and cons of equipment performance and the level of production capacity are important factors that determine the cost of products, and equipment prices are the basis for product depreciation costs. At present, equipment manufactured by some equipment manufacturers is difficult to achieve the equipment production capacity introduced by general data, because of many reasons; there are some manufacturers of designers lack of process technology research on paper molding systems, immature design, non-standard The processing resulted in no guarantee of the quality of production equipment, and there was no strict inspection system, no responsible after-sales service, etc., plus some misleading business consulting companies, which caused great losses for some users who invested in the early stage. Although current equipment manufacturers have made great efforts to improve the quality of their products and their technology has matured, users have to make practical investigations on the equipment to be selected. Special care must be taken to equipment manufacturers that do not provide convenient inspections. In addition to examining the equipment's price and molding process, the inspection method must also examine the actual production capacity of the equipment.
Yield and pass rate and equipment energy consumption. These indicators are very important for the smooth production and control of product costs. Now I have actually examined and counted some of the equipment over the years.
In addition to price factors, the following indicators are proposed for equipment manufacturers and equipment manufacturers to use (Note).

(1) Equipment utilization of the molding machine. As the saying goes, if you are not afraid of slowness, you are afraid of standing. This fully explains the importance of equipment utilization. The design of the molding machine should be finalized. Before the delivery, the factory should carry out strict inspections and examinations according to the assembly and commissioning project. In actual production, if the molding machine is to work three shifts per day, and the deduction of idle time, network change, minor repair, maintenance and other downtime is 1 hour, the average daily trouble-free operation should be at least 21 hours.

Equipment utilization = (working time per shift × 3  24 hours) × 100%

(2) The design and production capacity of the molding machine is a criterion for judging the production efficiency of the molding machine. The production capacity of the paper tableware forming equipment can be calculated according to the following formula:

Q=M VK

Q———Production capacity of molding machine, one day after another
M———a molding product quantity
V———the cycle time of a molding cycle is 600 meters and 25 grams
K———The working day of the equipment is the next day
Industrial packaging products vary greatly in terms of their external dimensions and structural shapes, so their equipment production capacity is difficult to calculate in terms of quantity. Generally, finished product tonnage is the output index. Its calculation formula should be:

Q=MV q K 1 K 2îž„1000

Q———Production capacity of molding machine
M———a molding product quantity
V——— cycle time of one molding
q———weight of paper molded products (kg)

K 1 --- equipment effective working hours (hours) the next day
K 2 - Yield of molding machine, %

(3) Yield. The total amount of finished products of the molding machine (including qualified products, secondary products and other external products)
The percentage of the designed output of the molding machine (the total amount of finished products and the amount of molding loss) is called the yield rate.
Its calculation formula is:

Finished rate = [total product quantity  (total product quantity + molding loss quantity)] × 100%

(4) Qualification rate. The percentage of qualified finished products included in the total finished product is called the passing rate.
The quantity of qualified products is the quantity of qualified products that meet the quality standards.

Qualification rate = (qualified product quantity  total finished product quantity) × 100%

The design and production capacity of equipment, the utilization rate of equipment, the product yield and the qualification rate are all important indicators for measuring the pros and cons of the equipment. Because it is directly related to the cost of the product, the selection equipment must evaluate these indicators and choose the best one.

4. Energy consumption is one of the three major cost components of paper molded products. Therefore, when selecting equipment, it is another important indicator that must be considered. The energy consumption is mainly in the product drying stage. Currently the product drying methods include electric heating, oil heating, steam heating, etc. The author believes that the best heating method for paper tableware forming equipment, especially fully automatic molding equipment, is electric heating and electric heating. Convenient, fast, civilized, safe, high yield, and no additional equipment required. The key to the energy consumption of electric heating is the process design of the mold. The use of new energy and new technologies can greatly reduce energy consumption. Industrial packaging products, due to different sizes, shapes, and thicknesses, are often dried using a drying tunnel. If necessary, they must be electrically heated at the end.
