More than 1,300 companies will participate in the Dongguan International Furniture Fair

At the 33rd International Famous Furniture (Dongguan) Exhibition, a large export-focused international pavilion spanning tens of thousands of square meters will officially open. This initiative aims to help furniture companies expand their global reach and tap into new export markets. The event, scheduled from March 16th to 20th, is expected to attract a wide range of international buyers and industry professionals. A key highlight this year is the newly launched "3G Pavilion," covering 30,000 square meters. This space was specifically designed to consolidate and promote export-oriented exhibitors, who previously were spread across different halls, making it difficult for overseas buyers to connect with them. The 3G Pavilion, along with other nearby exhibition areas, now hosts over 110 enterprises focused on international trade. The organizing committee has also made significant efforts to attract professional buyers from around the world. Over 1,000 international buyers have pre-registered, coming from 68 countries and regions including Europe, North America, Asia, and Oceania. To further boost participation, the team has deployed four working groups to key markets such as the U.S., Germany, Turkey, and the Middle East, resulting in a tenfold increase in local buyer attendance. Notably, top U.S. furniture retailers, including two of the country's leading companies, will be present at the event. Similarly, all three top Japanese furniture sellers are participating, and Harvey Norman, one of the largest home appliance suppliers in the Middle East, has also confirmed its attendance. To enhance the experience for Middle Eastern buyers, Hall 7, which showcases products tailored for that market, includes prayer rooms and halal dining options. This thoughtful addition reflects the growing importance of the Middle Eastern market for Dongguan’s furniture industry. In addition to exporting products, many local brands are now focusing on brand expansion abroad. Companies like City Window, Mousse Bedding, and Dixin Furniture have established numerous overseas stores, strengthening the presence of Chinese brands in the global home furnishings sector. Looking ahead, the organizers plan to further improve the exhibition’s infrastructure and support for domestic furniture brands in future editions, such as the 34th edition set for September. By focusing on both product quality and brand recognition, the famous furniture exhibition continues to play a vital role in helping Dongguan’s furniture industry thrive in the international market.
